GREATER NOVA, Ga.
— For some reason, a lot of the best gardening is in Athens.
And when it comes to the Athens Botanical Gardens, they have a lot to offer.
For a few hours every day, the garden hosts a garden show for families.
It’s not just about the garden, but also for the community, said Lisa O’Donnell, executive director of the Botanical Garden.
This is a community garden and so it’s a very welcoming place to be and it’s also a community event for the gardeners and the residents.
“I think what makes it really special is that it’s all volunteer, the whole community involvement, so the gardens themselves are a community project.
The gardeners are all volunteers.
They have to be because they are paid for that.
It is all volunteer work and a great place for people to come together and have a garden.
It is also a wonderful place to see the world’s best gardens.
There are so many great gardens in Athens and so many of them have been visited by tourists.
We’ve seen gardens like the one in the Botanic Gardens, one of the largest in Europe, where a lot has been developed in recent years and a lot is growing and people love it,” O’nell said.
But the garden shows are really about community and about a garden being the hub of a whole community.
And it’s really a wonderful way to get involved with the community.
“I think people are looking for a place to have a little fun,” she said.
“I think that the gardens are a really positive way for people and the gardens can really be an extension of the community.”
The Botanic Garden’s gardens are in Athens’ most diverse neighborhood.
There is the “green” garden, which is a mixture of urban and nature.
Then there are the “bogart” gardens, which have been designed specifically for the city, and the “fern garden,” which are designed for the Greek countryside.
O’Malley said the Botanics have a variety of plants and plants species in addition to the traditional ones.
“For us, it’s about the botanical variety,” she explained.
“It’s always going to be an urban garden and the traditional gardens in particular are designed to be green, to be natural, and to be inviting and fun for people.”
The Garden’s gardeners work hard to keep it as natural as possible, she said, but the garden’s focus is to be inclusive and respectful of the gardens community.
O’Donnell said the gardens’ gardeners do not want to compete with the tourists that come to Athens, but they do want to bring people back to the city to experience the city and the nature in general.
She said it is a great way to bring the community together, especially when it is such a popular tourist destination.
“We want the visitors to be part of this community and we want to be welcoming and fun,” O’,Donnell said.
The Botanicals gardeners love seeing the city grow, she added.
“It’s just really a great time to come visit and just see what the city has become and how beautiful it is and to see what’s new and exciting,” she added, adding that the garden has grown to a certain point.
But even as the gardens grow, they are still in need of volunteers to help out.
O’donnell said the Garden is looking for volunteers to take part in events.
They do have a list of events they want to host and there is a Facebook page that can be reached at www.facebook.com/TheGreenerGarden.
She said the volunteers are needed because they will have a good time.
“The Garden is a wonderful thing and I love that people come and see it, but we also want people to be involved, especially for the gardens that they come to visit,” she noted.
