The Dow gardens, a historic property that opened in 2009, is opening to business on Tuesday.
Owner Jim Molloy told the Associated Press that the new site will allow for a wider range of activities for the community.
The Dow Gardens, located on the campus of the University of North Texas, will be the home of the new Dow Family Gardens.
The campus is located on North Campus, which includes the University’s North Campus Extension and the Dow Gardens.
Molloy said the facility will serve as the hub of Dow Family Garden activities, as well as a home to the Dow Family History Museum and other educational and cultural programs.
Dow Gardens has been open for a short period of time but has not been fully operational.
Mollay said he is hopeful that it will be able to serve the community through the new year.
